At the heart of The Falls is its namesake: a breathtaking, 120 ft. cascading waterfall that explains the soul of the property. Fed by a natural spring originating in Downtown Decatur, The Falls spill dramatically over moss-covered rock, split by a natural island, and stretch more than 100 feet in width. Originally formed in the 1830’s by the redirection of Peavine Creek, the waterfall is both a historical artifact and a living, breathing principle of the home—its sound and motion ever-present, seen and heard from nearly every room. The Falls anchors daily life with a simple complexity both elemental and awe-inspiring.
